Best-fit lines
Finding the line of best fit is a snap. Select any number of data points on either your graph or in the Data Points inspector. Then, in the Style inspector’s Line Type control, choose Best-Fit Line. A line appears, along with a linear regression equation that indicates the slope best describing the selected points. (This can be edited like any other label.) You can extend or retract the line by dragging its end points.
